American International Toy Fair is produced by the Toy Industry Association™, Inc. (TIA), the not-for-profit trade association for producers and importers of toys and youth entertainment products sold in North America. TIA’s more than 550 toy manufacturers and importers account for approximately 85% of the annual U.S. domestic toy market of $21.87B. The 109th annual American International Toy Fair® is the largest toy and youth product marketplace in the Western Hemisphere, bringing together more than 1,100 exhibiting manufacturers, distributors, importers and sales agents from around the globe to showcase their toy and entertainment products. This year the Toy Fair 2012 will take place February 12-15, 2012 (Sunday-Wednesday) at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center and showroom locations. The show hours are 10:00am-6:00pm on Sunday, 9:00am-6:00pm Monday & Tuesday and 9:00am-4:00pm on Wednesday.
Three new products are part of the OWI entry at this year's fair: 1) 7 in 1 Rechargeable Solar Transformers (OWI-640) 2) Salt Water Fuel Cell Monster Truck (OWI-752) and 3) Salt Water Fuel Cell Giant Arachnoid (OWI-751) While these are OWI's newest entries, the fair include toys. From classic toys to interactive entertainment and everything in between, the Toy Fair playground includes: action figures and dolls, games and puzzles, construction toys, arts and creative activities, earth-friendly products, bicycles, tricycles and ride-ons, radio-controlled vehicles, infant and preschool toys, cars, trucks, and trains, puppets and plush, audio and video cassettes, computer software and video games, playground and sporting equipment, Halloween, Christmas, books, stationery, party supplies, and much more.
